![]() Lincoln: Do you know schools of special treatment are boarding schools? I am stranger to everyone here, being a stranger to others is no difference to me. Lucy: I don't even meet you during school breaks. Lincoln: Do you not care that you'll go to school where you know nobody? I just want to reclaim book with my poetry which only I can read. My life is already a prison, so I don't care about the another school. Lucy: That's a long story for another conversation. Lincoln: I remember, when you were not gloomy and brooding. I have to fix you, so you wouldn't have to change school. Lincoln: Spare me your elaborate metaphors, Lucy. There act as we are told to, defying our true selves. Normality is just a prettier name for a glittery prison, in which we are all forced to be. I only think you're spooky, freak is too strong word. Lincoln: Normal mean acting like the most of your age. Lucy: What's your definition of "normal"? Do you think I am a freak? Lincoln: If you were normal, this would have never happened! Lucy: I am also not pleased, so don't feel alone in this misfortune. Lincoln sat on couch and Lucy on armchair. The siblings were angry at their parents for forcing them to be together. The parents went to their room, leaving Lincoln and Lucy alone in the living room. Rita: I hope you two will become closer after this experience. As for you Lincoln, you're not allowed to go to cinema until your mom and I are satisfied. You'll have it back after you change for better. As an older brother you should have been a good example for her. You are a typical normal boy, so I expect you will have good influence on Lucy. Lincoln: We don't even play together for years. Lucy: Am I supposed to be with Lincoln? We don't have same interests. Now show respect and listen to your parents. Lincoln: Why do I have to spend my free time with her? Can't Leni or Lynn do it instead? Your interests are beyond common things and your social skills are very underdeveloped, that's why you'll accompany Lincoln in your every free moment. Lynn Sr: Both grades and behavior decide about your future. Lucy: What? Is it so bad? Aren't my good grades enough? Rita: I was also told that if you don't start to act like the other girls, you'll be transferred to a school of special treatment. Lucy: Most of them wear cliche dresses and talk only about toys and tv shows I don't like. Why don't you want to be like other girls? Lucy: If they fear me, they won't bother me. You can't just destroy things you don't like. Once you ripped a colorful poster to shreds. When the others are happy, you always show a disgust. Additionally you scare them intentionally. The other kids are afraid of you, because of your appearance and outright fascination with spooky things. Lucy: Why should I, if I simply have nothing to talk about with them? During breaks you sit alone, writing your poetry or reading strange books and you don't speak with other kids. I was told that you don't play with other girls and you isolate yourself from other kids. Rita: Your teacher doesn't see it that way, but that's not the worst. With rhymes I memorize my notes much better. Rita: I was told that you write poems instead of making notes during your classes. Lucy: After all, I just finished my reading. Put this book on the table, when I'm speaking with you. Rita: I had a conversation with your teacher. Lucy appeared behind her parents much to their and Lincoln's surprise and stood next to Lincoln. Lynn Sr: Why so nervous, Lincoln? Only your grades in PE are weak, you simply just need to train with Lynn. Lucy on other hand was very stoic, she was just sitting in her room and reading her poetry as usually. Lincoln was waiting for return of his parents, nervously sitting on couch and sweating. ![]() ![]() Meanwhile at the Loud House Lincoln was afraid of what his parents are going to tell him. ![]() Loud went to speak with Lincoln's teacher and Mrs. Lincoln has to change Lucy into more normal girl so she wouldn't be transfered to school of special treatment.Īt afternoon was a day of parent-teacher meeting at the elementary school to which Lincoln and Lucy attended. ![]()
